Human Rights mean the right relating to life, liberty, equality and dignity of the indivual granted by the constitution or embodied in the International Convents. Human Rights are consumed with equality and fairness. They recognise our freedom to make choices about our life and develop our potential as human beings. They are about living a life free from fear, harassment or discrimination.

There are a number of basic rights that people from around the world have agreed on, such as the right to life, freedom from torture and other cruel and inhuman treatment, rights to a fair trial, free speech and freedom of religion, rights to health, education and an adequate standard of living.

These human rights are the same for all people everywhere – male and female, young and old, rich & poor, regardless of our background, where we live, what we think or what we believe. This is what makes human rights ‘universal’.

Rights also describe what is lawful – that is, some rights may be laid down in law. If you have a legal right to something, you may be able to defend it in court.

In many situations, though, rights exist but are not converted by law. These rights are often called moral rights and are based on people’s sense of what is fair or just.

The office of National Human Rights Community of India was established and constituted at Bidhanpally, of Kanaipur outpost of Uttarpara Police Station, Hooghly in West Bengal, India. Our Registerd office Andul-Purbapara, Andul-Mouri, Howrah, West Bengal, India. This was the 2nd ``Letter Receiving Office” of India. It is named as “JANANI”. NHRCI & LFHR both organizations are established on 2003. Same time NHRCI didn’t register but National Human Rights Community of India (NHRCI) Registered by deed of trust on February, 2016. This organization set in its work standing by the distressing poor people for the well-being of mankind. On that time Ex. Governor of West Bengal and Former Hon’ble Justice of Calcutta & Allahabad High Court Mr. Shyamal Kumar Sen was the Chairman of “West Bengal Human Rights Commission”. From February 2016 Mr. Sasanka Sekhar Bera is the first Chairman and Hon’ble Presiding Judge (H.R.Debate) Sri. Saumen Das is the All India General Secretary of National Human Rights Community of India. On that time Former Hon’ble Justice of Supreme Court Mr. Cyriac Joseph was the acting Chairperson of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) & Retired DG of West Bengal Mr. Naparajit Mukherjee (IPS) was the acting Chairman of West Bengal Human Rights Commission (WBHRC). National Human Rights Community of India is a non profit organization and its controlled by a board of Trustee.

Since its inception from 2003 to up to date i.e. February 2016, with the thoughts and work of General Secretary of the organization, Sri. Saumen Das & with reach soon the good thoughts the light of its way.

Shree Saumen Das the Human Rights & Social activist and the great Human Rights fighter was born on 13^th December in 1979 in Andul-Purbapara of Howrah, West Bengal. His father’s name is Sri Sambhu Nath Das a retired service man of Calcutta G.P.O. His mother was Dr. Kanika Das a Homoeo physician. She passed D.M.S from Calcutta Metropolitan College. Shree Saumen Das was a student of New Andul H.C School of Howrah. He also passed Hindi diploma in “Rastravasha” Wardha in 1993. Shree Saumen Das has also a degree of vocal music and as well as Rabindra Sangeet. He started writing poems, songs at his very early boy hood. He roamed all over India since then. In 2000 he joined “Asian Front of Human Rights” as a member and after a few months he became the Secretary of Sankrail Block of the “Front” of Human Rights and this was the mile-stone of his life. He married in 2002. He founded the Life Front of Human Rights in 2003. He was invited in “Human Rights Day Anniversary” 10^th Dec, 2008 by West Bengal Human Rights Commission Nandan-II, Kolkata. For the first He joined “Hahnemann Homoeopathy Mission” in 2009. He participated on “Indian Journalist’s Association” and got his degree on 25^th January 2009 from Howrah of West Bengal. On 19^th March of 2009 he registered “Life Front of Human Rights” as par West Bengal Societies Registration act. 1961, and he became the General Secretary. Various administrative activities were done by him. Sri. Saumen Das is a sign of bravery. Some time he protested against illegal action and reported officially to the higher authority against some police officer and West Bengal & National Human Rights Commission to take strong action. Then he stared his work as a member of “Khudra Sangbadpatra Karmi Mancha” in 2012. In 2013 when the guideline of Dr. D.K Basu the order made by Supreme Court was not obeyed by various police officer all over India, Mr. Saumen Das started movement and according to this National Human Rights Commission gave further instruction to obey the guideline of Dr. D.K Basu. 1^{st “}World Human Rights Day” was observed on 10^th December, 2009 from Jhorhat Jivamukti Pradayin Samity, Andul, and Howrah. He became the Hon’ble presiding judge of Government Human Rights Debate Competition thought District level of West Bengal and Central Govt. Police in 2016. Then he new setup Trusty and became Founder & First All India General Secretary of National Human Rights Community of India (NHRCI) and made Mr. Shashahka Shekhar Bera (Former Headmaster of BamaSundari Institution, Howrah) the first Chairman. Needless to say Shree Saumen Das is a rare citizen People will remember him.
